Obituary for Ann Arciola


Ann Arciola, of Westport, wife of the late Carmen Arciola Jr. passed away peacefully on September 27, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born in 1920 and was raised in Westport where she met her husband and raised their family. She was predeceased by her parents Anthony and Nunziata (Zeoli) Bellucci, her brothers, John and Ralph Bellucci, and her sister Mary Lavatori. She was a 1937 Staples graduate.
She was a devout Catholic and was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. She is survived by her son Carmen Arciola III and her daughter Linda Lombardi and son-in-law Kenneth and many nieces and nephews.

Her greatest accomplishments in life were her grandchildren, Natalie, Megan and Nicholas Vena III, who affectionately called her "DeeDee".
Besides helping raise her grandchildren, she loved to bake. She was also a volunteer at Norwalk Hospital for many years.
Her family would like to extend gratitude to the staff of Benchmark Senior Living in Shelton and the staff of Caring Hospice for taking care of her and making her comfortable in her home away from home.

The family will receive friends in the Harding Funeral Home 210 Post Road East, Westport, CT on Friday October 5, 2018 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM in Assumption Church 98 Riverside Ave. Westport, CT Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery Kings Highway North in Westport. Condolences for the family may be left on line at www.hardingfuneral.com. Donations can be in her name to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and The Jimmy Fund.
