Mary passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on January 1st at the age of 89.
Mary was preceded in passing by her loving husband James Stephen Fallon, her son Timothy Peter Fallon and grandson Tommy Fallon.
Born in Brooklyn, New York to Frederick and Mary Shanahan Goebeler, she is survived by her last remaining brother George Goebeler (Barbara) and predeceased by her brothers Larry, Fred and Eddie.
Mary lived a full life raising eight children with the help of her beloved husband Jim to ensure that their children were industrious, loyal and loving. Proper manners and respectfulness was something she valued, and instilled, in all of her children. Mary went to Katherine Gibbs secretarial school and worked at GE in Manhattan as a young professional. When her youngest turned 10 Mary went back to work, first at Westport Bank & Trust, then as an executive secretary at Champion International in Stamford. One of Mary's favorite activities was to go to Compo Beach in the summer. Although Mary did not swim, she made sure each of her children knew how.
Mary had 4 special dogs in her adult life, Buffy, Penny, Muffin and Sally. She truly loved dogs and passed that love along to her children. A devoted wife and mother Mary brought a smile to others with her candor (Grandma Frank) and quick wit. The last 30 years of her life were focused on seeing her children and their families flourish.
Here to carry on her memory are children, David Fallon (Candice), Larry Fallon (Suzy), Suzanne Bostick(Cory), Chris Fallon (Valerie), Timmy Fallon’s wife Suzette, Donna Schleter (Harvey), Mary Beth Cusenza (Joe) and Jim Fallon (Laurie).
Grandchildren include Jamie and Matt Fallon, Nick and Chelsea Cusenza, Sara Cusenza-Parker and Chele Morales Parker, Christopher & Sophia Cusenza, Becky Schleter-Harris(West) , Brian and Brandon Schleter, Cassie, Kate and Kiersten Fallon, Doug and Kyle Bostick, Elle and Cooper Fallon, Shannon and Sean Fallon.
